GEICO Student Award The nonprofit Washington Regional Alcohol Program (WRAP) offers an exciting opportunity for your school – WRAP’s GEICO Student Awards! This annual contest honoring Washington-metropolitan area high school groups for their work in promoting alcohol and drug-free lifestyles to their peers is a great way to reward your group for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year! Each school group competes against other groups within the Washington metropolitan region. The groups are selected for the top three prizes: 1st Place receives $1,000, 2nd Place receives $600 and 3rd Place receives $400 to continue their fight against underage drinking and impaired driving in their school and communities. In addition, all groups attending will be able to participate in great activities and raffles at the awards ceremony. All schools submitting an entry are invited to attend the awards ceremony/luncheon traditionally held in Washington, D.C. in April.WRAP's 2012 GEICO Student Awards application deadline is March, 30 2012.
