Alcohol Awareness for Students

Each year, WRAP partners with local law enforcement in addressing thousands of Washington-metropolitan area high school and college students with its Alcohol Awareness for Students presentation. Offered in two distinct versions--one for high school students and the other for college audiences--these two separate programs are designed to be individually unique to each school setting. Thus far, the response has been extraordinarily positive and the demand ever increasing.

WRAP, in tandem with local law enforcement, commits:

  • To effectively educate high school students about the dangers of underage drinking and impaired driving while presenting information that students can relate back to their individual lives.
  • To raise awareness among college students of the newfound dangers of mixing alcohol with campus life, as well as the physical and legal consequences of underage drinking and impaired driving that could have a lasting affect on their future.

Through the use of cutting edge information and ideas, WRAP provides an innovative, educational program designed to raise teen awareness of the dangers and consequences of underage drinking.

  • Stimulates discussion through innovative questioning and interactive PowerPoint presentation!
  • Raises awareness of the consequences of underage drinking and impaired driving!
  • Associates stereotypical student decisions with alcohol-induced
